We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist/physical therapist who wants to work in rehabilitation medicine. Rehabilitation medicine is a county-wide specialist service that offers rehabilitation to working-age individuals who have suffered neurological injuries and diseases. The most common diagnoses are brain injury and spinal cord injury, and we meet patients in inpatient care, day care, and outpatient care. The work is done in a team around the patient, where relatives are also an important part. The team includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, neuropsychologists, social workers, nursing assistants, nurses, rehabilitation assistants, and doctors. Currently, five experienced physical therapists work in Rehabilitation Medicine.

Neurocentrum is a broad operation consisting of outpatient clinics in neurology, neurosurgery, neurophysiology, and rehabilitation medicine, as well as three inpatient wards. We work on developing care pathways for our patient groups in close collaboration between different professions and across specialty boundaries, both internally at the clinic and externally in the region. Education and research are conducted in collaboration with Örebro University. Örebro University Hospital (USÖ) is one of the county's three acute hospitals where we provide advanced medical care, research, and education. USÖ has approximately 550 beds and 3,500 employees. With us, you will work with assessment and rehabilitation and follow patients over a longer period in the rehabilitation process. You will independently plan and carry out the physiotherapeutic training and collaborate with our two nursing assistants who can assist with training and carry out treatments that you delegate. We have regular rehabilitation conversations together with the patient and relatives, where we together formulate and follow up on goals for rehabilitation. We also work with information and education for the patient, relatives, and other staff who have contact with the patient.

Licensed physiotherapist/physical therapist. As a person, we want you to appreciate working both independently and in a team. You are someone who enjoys collaborating around patients and is attentive and clear in your communication. You are meticulous in your work and want to contribute to the development of the operation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with patients with brain or spinal cord injuries.
